I also included a short video of a rattlesnake me and Cinnamon ran into while walking in the Tecolote Canyon in Clairemont. Keep in mind there are many rattlesnakes in San Diego and some of them are very close to where people live. Always be on the lookout for a rattler. A good thing is that they will warn you when you get too close by shaking their rattle. Take extreme caution and stay clear of these snakes.
