Chargers Retire LaDainian Tomlinson’s Jersey Lose to K.C. 33 to 3
It was a wonderful San Diego afternoon. Tailgating at Qualcomm Stadium before the San Diego Chargers would take on the Kansas City Chiefs. An added bonus was the retiring of number 21’s Jersey LaDainian Tomlinson. As I sat there in the warm sun in my lawn chair in the parking lot of the Q I thought about how blessed I am to be in
San Diego. The sun was so warm that I took off my shirt for one last sunny San Diego afternoon and a chance to get a little tan. I checked my phone and the temperature was 87 degrees Fahrenheit and it was mid-November. Where else can you have such great weather in the United States other than maybe Hawaii or Florida. Unbelievable.
I looked at some of the other games going on in the NFL and temperatures were in the 20’s and 30’s. November 22, 2015 in San Diego, 87 degrees. Can’t beat it. What a day.
The Chargers had a disappointing game against Kansas City. They kept it close up to half time where the score was 12-3 in favor of KC. Then the half time was LT having his jersey retired. What a class act. So glad that LaDainian Tomlinson was a Charger.
The second half was all Kansas City Chiefs. What a great day to be at the stadium watching the Chargers. Win or lose you can’t beat living in San Diego.
