San Diego County Fair 2012
The San Diego County Fair in 2012 runs from Friday June 8 to Wednesday July 4 but keep in mind that the San Diego County Fair will be closed on Mondays except for July 2. I’ve been going to the San Diego County Fair or Del Mar Fair as some of us know it for well over 20 years. This event is a San Diego Best that is a must go to event to complete the San Diego summer festivities.
This year the Fair did not disappoint. The food was just as good as ever, the rides were great, games too and the animals were at their best. This year the family packed into 3 cars and drove on over to see the Fair. Seniors, teens, toddlers and the rest all came together for a great time at San Diego’s legendary Fair. There was something for everyone and something for all. I must say that most of my time was spent with the younger ones at the kiddie rides and animal petting area. Kids just love animals.
Even though the San Diego County Fair was packed, I mean parking lots full to the brim, it was manageable to get around and because of the sheer size of the Del Mar Fairgrounds it was opened up and spread out. If you’re a people watcher this is the place for you as there were lots of people there having lots of fun. Make sure you stop by the Fair this year and enjoy this San Diego Icon of an Event.
