Bay Park is south of Bay Ho, East of Pacific Beach and Mission Bay, North of Linda Vista and Old Town and west of Clairemont Mesa West. There are many homes on the canyon in this area and some look over the Tecolote Canyon Golf Course. Lots of entry paths to walk, bike and hike in the canyons. Ocean breezes are almost always blowing and keeping the temperature comfortable and there is June Gloom and May Grey in this area as well as early morning fog. Clairemont Drive, off of Interstate 5 going east splits Bay Park in half. Keep going up Clairemont Drive and you will enter Bay Ho as soon as you pass Balboa Avenue and keep going further and you will enter North Clairemont as you pass over Clairemont Mesa Blvd by the Clairemont Town Square. Parts of Clairemont Drive were recently changed from a 4 lane road to a 2 lane road from Balboa Avenue to Clairemont Mesa Blvd. as an effort to slow down cars and offer a wide bike lane to cyclists.
