Torrey Pines US Open 2008
It’s a great week for golf in San Diego. Most weeks in San Diego are great for golf but this 
week is special because Tiger Woods is in town for the US Open at Torrey Pines. This is another one of my posts on why San Diego is such a great place to live. San Diego Golf Courses are some of the finest in the world and weather in San Diego is almost always perfect. I almost said, Always Perfect, but we do get rain on rare occasions. I know that Torrey Pines is many a pro golfer’s favorite golf course and I know why. The course is stunningly beautiful overlooking the Pacific Ocean surrounded by rare Torrey Pines – the only place they grow in the world.
Well I guess Tiger is back four from the leader, Justin Hicks. Sometimes I think he just likes to make things interesting. If you ever get a chance to visit Southern California make sure you stop by Torrey Pines Golf Course and Torrey Pines State Beach. It’s truly one of San Diego’s Gems.
