Sunbow Real Estate and Homes
Sunbow is a Chula Vista community located just west of Otay Ranch on the east side of Highway 805. Most of this community is very new and has a great little shopping center with a Ralph´s Grocery, Starbucks Coffee, Blockbuster Video, restaurants and more. The shopping center is called Sunbow Plaza Shopping Center. Because this is such a new community with newer homes there is not much history. Rolling Hills Ranch is located in Chula Vista just north of EastLake. Just take H Street off of the 805 and go east. Right before H Street turns into Proctor Valley Road you´re in Rolling Hills Ranch.

The golf course is also a nature preserve and is a great place for an afternoon of golf in Chula Vista. Rolling Hills Ranch is still under development and has many new home communities still being built. EastLake Woods Real Estate and Homes
EastLake Woods as well as EastLake Vistas are the two last EastLake projects. EastLake Woods has the biggest homes on the biggest lots in EastLake. There is a wonderful gated community within EastLake Woods call “The Gates at The Woods by EastLake”. It was where the 2003 Tour d’Elegance was held. There is a beautiful bridge at the west entry to EastLake Woods. EastLake Woods has a great walking and jogging trail on its east border. The view from this trail is of open meadows, mountains and the Upper Otay Lake. This is a great walk any time of day and should be seen to appreciate the wilderness still left in EastLake. There are many coyotes out at night and an occasional deer in the meadow. Birds of prey are everywhere on the hunt. This is the back country of Chula Vista. EastLake Woods has a gorgeous pool that was built by Davidson Communities and is located at 1150 Woods Drive. It’s like a Roman bath house.

EastLake Trails Real Estate and Homes
EastLake Trails is known for its wooded trails feel, hence the name EastLake Trails. The community of EastLake Trails has many meandering trails through its community. Mountain views are stunning in this area. In the morning the clouds start to rise up from the Upper and Lower Otay Lakes and EastLake valleys and is a beautiful site surrounding the base of the mountains. The mountain views are good here because the community slopes downward into a seasonal river and estuary. The slope is to the east and so are the mountains which give most homeowners great EastLake mountain views. The estuary is a wildlife area and is also a nice place for a morning or early evening walk. There are lots of EastLake birds in the trees and marshes. There are also many birds of prey; eagles, hawks and owls hunting for rabbits as well. Although the owls are only out at night, you probably won’t see them but you will hear their screeches in the EastLake night. EastLake Trails has a great community pool and clubhouse. The residents of EastLake Trails can also use the pools at EastLake Woods and EastLake Vistas. There’s a part of EastLake Trails called EastLake Trails North. It is just west of EastLake Woods on the west side of Hunte Parkway.
